Is Agile Dead?

The year 2025 turned out to be insane, and it’s not over yet. The Project Management Institute acquired the Agile Alliance. Companies are adopting agile scaling frameworks with diagrams that make the incredible machine cartoons look simple. Large consulting firms are selling post-agile frameworks. Your taxi driver is convinced that he can vibe-code the next Uber-killer unicorn without even understanding how HTTP works. Does Agile even mean anything any more? Is it dead, has it zombified, or are there still useful things we can save from it?
